First off, it is a very well made and nice looking short. However… A couple things to note. No stretch at all. When priced at or above Arc’teryx shorts, I feel like they should have that comfortable give when you need it. My only other concern was the zippers. You basically need to use two hands every time you need to open a zippered pocket. No reason for it. I have cheap junk shorts that the zipper will pull open with one hand no problem. But not on these. You have to hold onto the back side of the zipper, then pull it open or closed.Regardless of that. These are currently my favorite looking short this year. Filson should fix a couple things for next summer though. The shorts run a little big. But not as big as the Green River short. I normally wear a 35” waist and the large is almost too big on me. But it still works just fine.
