I was looking for new shoes and didnt realize how many different kinds Merrell had besides hiking shoes! Found these in my size and at a affordable price. I've had them about a week and broke them in some, they seem like they added a inch to my height! So far they are comfy Im just hoping they last a few years!Hey, I am a 22 year old kid who just finished traveling Europe for 5 weeks. Here is my honest review of the Merrell Alpine Sneakers.I recently purchased these shoes because I needed a sturdy pair of shoes to travel Europe in for 5 weeks. the shoes came as expected, and were very comfy out of the box, but seemed to wear in very quickly. After a couple weeks I taped up the back of the shoe because the fabric started to tear. After a couple months of heavy use in these shoes I can confidently say that i'm not crazy, but they just aren't quite up to the expected Merrell quality I thought I was investing in. I do not recommend these shoes to travel the world in, They might be fine for you if you use them one a week on daily outings, but they clearly arent made for tough use. Those shoes fit great. A little bit overpriced, but there is value for my wallet.Just right. Not too narrow. Not too wide. Lightweight and very comfortable. A great casual sneaker.Fit not as expected, too small. Order accordingly.Best Quality.Good priceLightLoved the style of these shoes but everytime I get anywhere near water with these on I slip and fall. Three or four times now. I can't wear them anymore. I tried another pair of shoes with a better sole and had no issues in the same environment. Shame.Simple, cool, retro style I wish more hiking shoe companies would make. But its overpriced and the sole felt weird. The materials are of same quality as $40-50 shoes, nothing special.
