These shorts have a light compression underlayer along with convenient pockets to stow nutrient gel, a music player, and other essentials that you may need. Perfect for running and biking, these shorts are also great for weight training at the gym or just cruising around town. I typically take a XXL size for workout shorts and I have to say that these fit very trim. If a trim fit is not what you want, order a size larger. After a couple of wearings, these shorts have quickly become my favorite workout shorts I own. You can't go wrong with Pearl Izumi quality!
