Description
When a wetsuit is your choice of thermal protection but you need pockets, look no further. Using hardwearing Supratex (made with recycled polyester) to reinforce the seat and crotch, these shorts are designed to stand the test of the most adventurous diver. Most attention has been given to the pockets – built to the same design as our Argonaut drysuit pockets, using Cordura fabric for durability. The pockets feature a wetnotes sleeve and bungee loops with the addition of a mesh panel in the bottom to assist fast drainage. The wide waistband has a low profile buckle and webbing to adjust for optimum fit. Inside the waistband is lined with anti-slip mesh skin to ensure that the shorts stay in position, whether in the water or hiking to the dive site.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. (A bit pricey.)Made of first-rate materials with solidly joined seams. The offset belt buckle to the left of center eliminates interference with your BCD cumberbund and/or buckle and/or crotch strap. I really like the "grippy" material at tge waist to keep the shorts in place atop a wetsuit. You can also wear them as just shorts for diving in warm water.The poclets are a good size for carrying essentials to streamline yourself and eliminate dangly snag hazards. The pockets are equipped with great drainage mesh or grommets.All pockets have a pair of 1/8" grey bungee loops sewn in and all my equipment stored inside is secured to them with boltsnaps or trigger snaps. (Trigger snaps are more compact and a bit more secure, IMO.)The bungee loops would be better if they were a color that made them more visible - like yellow.How I have my kit set up:Right Hand for emergency equip:- RH Pocket: spare mask- RH Flap Pocket: Storm Whistle & signal mirrorLeft Hand for normally used dive equip:- LH Pocket: DSMB & spool & wet notes in the inner pocket- LH Flap Pocket: EMT shears
